Athlete accepted by Methodist University

Lowell, MA – A  senior at Lowell High School will attend a university over seven hundred miles away in North Carolina to study sports management and play varsity sports.

Lori Martin plans to attend Methodist University in North Carolina.

Martin is the starting varsity third baseman in her current season for the Red Raiders.

Martin  will continue to play softball for the Monarchs and major in sports management.Read More

LHS Senior Business Interest

Lowell, MA – One LHS student who played varsity basketball four years for the Red RaidersIMG_3929will continue his studies at Middlesex Community College (MCC) this September.

Aluouscious Wennah, who played four years as a starting guard for the Red Raiders, plans a focus on business marketing at MCC.

Wennah says that his greatest LHS experience was being a leader on the basketball team.

During his final season with the Red Raiders the team reached the semi-finals in the MIAA Division I North Basketball Tournament.

Wennah says ‘don’t slack’ for those who are still in high school or about to enter high school.
