LHS students meet with Police Superintendent

Generation Citizen team focusing on specific community issues for Spring project

LHS Students Kyeh Meh, Julian Viviescas and Luiz Oliveira de Brida from the Generation Citizen history project meet with Superintendent of Police William Taylor to discuss community issues. School resource officer David Peaslee (far left) and History teacher Jessica Lander  (far right) also attended the discussion.  Social Studies Department chairperson Robert DeLossa initiated the meeting and the students facilitated the discussion.  Students are working on civic projects to solve community problems and are presenting at the State House in the Generation Citizen civics day.
