Stephen Hawking – a world’s most respected theoretical physicist passed away last week – after over half a century of living with the disease ALS.

 

Stephen Hawking was a British scientist, professor and author who performed groundbreaking work in physics and cosmology, he used his entire life to solve the mysteries of the universe.

 

Hawking died at the age of 76 in March 14, Cambridge, UK.

 

At the age of 21, Stephen Hawking was diagnosed with  amyotrophic lateral sclerosis  ( ALS). According to the US Association, a person only has 10% chance of surviving 10 years after their initial diagnosis. But Hawking lived with it for 55 years, he made it until he was 76.

 

Hawking was regarded as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists in history.

Scientific world will miss the brilliance of Stephen Hawking.
