Lowell, MA – One LHS senior, Estefania Pichazaca was born on October 25, 2000 in Cana, Ecuador.

Her Parents couldn’t find any work opportunities in Ecuador so in 2011 they came to America.

Estefania stayed with her Grandma and Uncle in Ecuador then came to America in 2015. Now she’s 17 years old and is a senior at Lowell High School. She has two siblings, a brother named Patrick and a sister named Jocelyn. She speaks two languages English and Spanish. She also loves to eat and enjoys reading comic books, and novels.

Estefania doesn’t believe in fate. She said,“No, you can’t control your future. One thing can happen and then another thing can happen.”

She works at an Ecuadorian Market as a cashier. She’s most likely going to Middlesex Community College. It’s going to be tough because of the money, but she wants to study medicine.

In the future Estefania hopes to be a dental hygienist.

In Ecuador she was always alone because her relatives traveled and she had nothing to do. Now that she’s in America she’s made many friends and she’s been given many opportunities and hopes that it’ll help her pursue her dream career.
